Mr. Ibrahim Zeynalov is a managing partner heading the five-lawyer office since 2002. He is a graduate of Moscow State University with specialisation in law. He has solid professional and managerial skills specialising mainly in litigation and dispute settlement. In late 80th – 90th he worked as Investigator in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Mr. Zeynalov is a member of the Azerbaijan Bar. His areas of specialisation are litigation, arbitration, civil and corporate law. Mr. Zeynalov is fluent in Azerbaijani and Russian.
Mrs. Ilaha Abbasova is a senior lawyer of IJS. She is a graduate of the English and French languages faculty of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Languages as well as Baku State University with specialisation in law. Also she obtained diploma in Chartered Insurance Institute of London, United Kingdom. Before joining IJS Mrs. Abbasova worked as Chief Specialist in the International Law Department in the General Office of the Prosecutor of the Republic of Azerbaijan, investigator of the district prosecutor office and Director of Claims Department in the “MOST Insurance” Insurance Company. Her areas of specialization are litigation, arbitration, civil, banking and corporate law, insurance. Mrs. Abbasova is fluent in Azerbaijani, Russian, English, French and Turkish.
Mr. Elchin Usub is a senior lawyer of IJS. He is a graduate of Baku State University with specialization in law. He completed his master degree in law faculty of Ruhr University in Germany. At present he is lecturing at the faculty of International Law and International Relations of Baku State University. Mr. Usub is a member of the Azerbaijan Bar and the German Society for Comparative Law. Many times he has been drawn into different law projects as an expert held by GTZ, OSCE, World Bank. His areas of specialization: international arbitration, international private law, civil law, civil procedure and also land law. He is fluent in Azerbaijani, Russian, English, German and Turkish.
Mr. Natig Mustafayev is a lawer of IJS. He is a graduate of Voronezh State University (Russian Federation) with specialization in law. He completed his master degree in law faculty of Baku State University. Before joinig IJS Mr. Mustafayev served as lawyer to Caspian American Telecom LLC, Capital Audit Ltd and to the other local and foreign companies. His areas of specialization are litigation, arbitration, civil, telecom, tax and corporate law. Mr. Mastafayev is fluent in Azerbaijani, Russian, French, Turkish and English.
Mr. Ganbarov Sarkhan is a lawer of IJS since 2005. He is a graduate of Moscow State University with specialization in law. Mr. Ganbarov specializes in theory of state and law, civil and tax law. In late 80th and at the beginning of 90th he had worked as a teacher at Baku State University. He defended a thesis on candidate of law science in 1992. His areas of specialization: civil and tax law, theories of state and law. Mr. Ganbarov is fluent in Azerbaijani, Russian and English.
